Next on the agenda was Scott James of the James Gang Radio program on KCOL AM 600 from 4 to 7 PM. He talked about the 1st Amendment and so much more. One of the more important points that he made was to beware of the almost sure to be forth coming reintroduction of the 'Fairness Doctrine'. This will be a travesty for free speech based upon free enterprise. The talk radio that we have accustomed to for the past twenty years will be neutered by having to give equal time to the opposing point of view whether we want to hear it or not. "Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech". We should be ale to listen to what we want to and radio stations ought to be able to broadcast the content that they want to.
Scott is also the program director for KCOL 600 AM. You can contact him here. Scott James
