Are You My Candidate?

I am looking for a candidate to vote for. Are you my candidate? The person I am looking for stands tall, with clear eyes, a firm handshake and a sense of purpose and direction. Are you my candidate?

I am looking for a person who has been awake for sometime and is mad as hell about the sad state of the nation. This person must have studied the Constitution and be ready and willing to defend it. I am looking for a person that knows that the military is to be used to defend the sovernty of the United States, not to be used to rebuild areas torn apart by storms. George Washington once said “To live in peace, we must prepare for war”. Are you my candidate?

I am hoping for a leader who realizes that an entity the size of our federal government can become corrupt and must be whittled down to proper size. My candidate must realize that the pride of the people comes not from a handout, but rather from the satisfaction of doing a job without government assistance. My candidate must be wise enough to realize that people will take advantage of a government that gives things a way for the sake of a vote. This causes people to lie and cheat on their applications for assistance, after all our leaders lie even under oath. My candidate must have the courage and faith to prosecute those who would rip off their taxpaying brothers and sisters for their own personal gain. Are you my candidate?

I am looking for a person who is sick and tired of standing by and watching the freedom of the citizens of the United States subtlety slip away with each new law passed or lawsuit won by a group of people. This country was born on the idea of individual rights. We have some how been transformed to a nation of group rights, where we pit one group against another under the guise of diversity and a we should all get along mentality. This train of thought has done more to divide this nation that to heal it. We desperately need to return to a nation based on individual rights as spelled out in the Bill of Rights. Are you willing to be my candidate?

Oh yeah, I was hoping that you could get some of our freedoms back by repealing some laws that were placed upon us by fear. I remember being told that when TWA flight 800 went down over the Atlantic that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions about it being shot down by a foreign entity. Meanwhile the administration sent fear throughout the land that it may have been a terrorist group and laws were quickly put in place at the airports for our own good. Two years later it was determined that the explosion aboard the plane was an accident. No terrorist! Rescind the law and give us back our freedom. Do you have enough courage to dismantle and make less powerful the federal government? Are you my candidate?

Oh, and if you happen to be running for President, do you have enough courage and fortitude to live a good life and not live in fear of the American people? If so will you take down the barriers in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. so that traffic can once again flow past your house. Are you my candidate?

I recall growing up how much I respected the office of the President of the United States of America. I am flabbergasted when my nine year old daughter mocks and jokes at our current president. Will you do your best to restore dignity to the office? Are you my candidate?

I would like to have a person represent me that has some respect for me and the rest of the constituents to not pass laws that assume that we have no common sense, even if some citizens display a lack of it. Just say no to new laws supported by insurance companies. They are in business to make money just like most other companies. Every time a law is passed that ensures they will be more profitable, Americans seem to lose another freedom. Are you my candidate? If so, please contact me and I will work hard to try to get you elected. Whimps and two faced candidates need not apply.
